red wiggler

First off, the wheels of updating were in motion. However, I noticed that Tripod has been messing around with server settings since all of my Perl scripts aren’t working. Those scripts are responsible for my file downloads. I’ll be looking into it, that’s for sure.

Of course, I’ve been watching the terrorist attacks and their reprocussions on TV and the web. It’s alerted me to take security a little more seriously. In other words, I’m actually examining my firewall logs now. The CodeRed2 worm has hit the Rogers@Home network pretty hard. I’ve managed to hack about ten people so far, whose computers have been attacking mine. Hacking, not cracking. I don’t actually harm any data on their systems. I just find out who they are by perusing their hard disk and then I alert them. No harm done. Actually, I wish some Rogers@Home network guys would do the same.

More to come…
