do i look good in perls?

I did what I said I would. I developed a nifty little Perl script that makes my chore of taking care of this .plan file a lot easier. It’ll do for the meantime. In the the near future, I plan on implementing an XML-based version of it. Yes, I need an excuse to dabble with XML 🙂 Assuming all goes well, I’ll give away the source code in the Downloads section. There may also be another addition to the Downloads section. A few months ago at work, I developed a mass e-mail utility for our company to use. It’s similar to the products offered by Lyris. My dilemma is whether I should release the source code for this. Last week, an interested company (who does not compete with us) contacted me in regards to purchasing the mass e-mail utility that I developed. So people are interested, but I developed it for the company I work for. What to do, what to do…

Well, if I have any more ideas for projects I’ll be sure to let you know 🙂 Mark my word; my name will be mentioned in the same breath as famous computer scientists such as Donald Knuth and Bjarne Stroustrup. I know…that’s not likely anytime soon, but you gotta think big 😉

To end on a good note, it kinda sorta feels like winter today 😀
