chico in the limelight

January 15, 2002 under Life, Music

Hey, it’s snowing! It’s actually snowing. We were supposed to get freezing rain last night, but luckily we didn’t. Keep the snow coming 🙂

Chico is famous. Read this breaking story in the Timmins Times:

In less than a month, the new Local H album comes out. It’s called “Here Comes The Zoo” and it’ll be released February 5th. I haven’t been anxious for an album’s release since the Butthole Surfers put out “The Weird Revolution” back in August (Dena loves the way that album sounds in the car). What are Local H like, you ask? They don’t dance, they don’t lipsynch, they don’t have a DJ in the band, they don’t rap, they’ll probably never be on the cover of a teen magazine, they don’t have their own action figures, they’re not rich and famous, they don’t make videos that portray themselves as rich and famous people, and they don’t need other people to write songs for them. They do, however, rawk; think of a mix of Nirvana and Guided By Voices.

I like this new .plan archive I made. It lets me write more of these ramblings o’ mine. Lucky you 🙂
