stuff and junk

July 3, 2002 under Life

First off…Happy Canada Day. Happy 4th of July. Bastille day is coming up soon too, right?

It’s been a while since I’ve updated the .plan. Heat + crazy-ass humidity = extreme lethargy. With 40 degree celsius (100 degree fahrenheit for the ‘Mericans) being an every day thing, moving, thinking and doing have become quite the struggle. Yes, we have A/C, but still…bah. That kind of weather just sux0rs the life right out of you. If it was early Novemeber all year round, I’d be happy 🙂

Warfraft 3 comes out today. Guess what I’ll be doing after work? ;P

Dena’s family (the Anderson side: mom, dad, brother, sister) are coming down to Kitchener today to stay with us for about a week. We’ll probably end up venturing east to Niagara Falls to do the tourist-y things. May we even go to stink town, er, Toronto. Read this article if you are cluesless as to why I’m refering to Toronto as “stink town”. A sojourn to Canada’s Wonderland would be tolerable, though. Hell, in this heat, Bingemans and Sports World here in Kitchener would be fine, too.

Oh, for those of you who knew about my impending salary review at work, it’s complete and it turned out exactly how we thought it would 😐

On a sad note, Dixie, our family dog of fifteen years was put to sleep in Timmins yesterday. She was a feisty six-pound purebred Yorkshire Terrier with a lot of spunk 🙁

PS: If you get some script errors while browsing my site, it’s Tripod‘s fault. They’re doing something phunny.
