What a string of events these past few days have held. Dena’s family came and went. We got two kittens, Snickers and Seven, but did not have them for long. We had to put Snickers to sleep on Monday (July 8) and Seven on Friday (July 12) because they had Panleukopenia; a nasty virus that kills kittens quickly. We got the kittens from Dena’s boss’ daughter who owns a farm. Apparently Panleukopenia is quite rampant among kittens from barns or animal shelters. Yes, Dena definitely wants more kittens but not to go through with this again. We’ll get them from a reputable source next time, but first we have to disinfect our entire place because the Panleukopenia virus is quite resilient. BTW, we should mention that the staff of the Gateway Pet Hospital in Kitchener were great and we’ll definitely trust them to keep our future pets healthy.
So needless to say, Dena’s spirits have been pretty low lately. Hopefully a night out at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto to see Guided By Voices‘ rock ‘n’ roll antics with Pat, Barry and Ester on July 19th will lift her spirits.
We also just recently got Digital Cable from Rogers and she’s a fan of TV Land and the Game Show Network. Myself, I may occasionally tune into the NHL Network or TechTV but I still haven’t given Warcraft 3 proper attention yet either 😉
PS: Yes, Tripod still hasnt’ fixed the problems with the popupWin errors yet.
