Well the Guided By Voices show rocked. They played a lot from the new album, which was to be expected, but they played a fair amount from older albums including quite a few from Bee Thousand. Hearing “Shocker in Gloomtown” live was a treat, too. Barry was lucky enough to be able to walk away with a souvenier. For most of the show, we were probably about five feet away from the stage and the band. At one point, GBV frontman Bob Pollard handed Barry a beer from GBV‘s cooler on-stage. It was a good evening.

I’ll probably have to hustle a little more on Dena’s section of this website. I complete her “rant” engine a while ago and we’re just waiting for her to gather some material. I have to work on a few other things, too, such as the layout of various sections of her site (she wants it to be original). More to come…

PS: Yes, Tripod still hasn’t fixed the problems with the popupWin errors yet. I’ll probably have to take matters into my own hands (they chose a horible name for a JavaScript variable of theirs).
