I have not had a cough or a sniffle in over three years. Until now. Being sick sucks and I totally forgot how much. No, it’s not SARS; just a cold.
Speaking of SARS, American media is advising Americans not to travel to Toronto. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The Canadian media has overblown the situation. And now the American media, probably bored now that the war in Iraq is over, seems to have latched onto the SARS outbreak in Toronto. You have to give them a little bit of credit. It’s probably the first non-American-related story that they’ve ever shared with the American citizens. Don’t worry, researchers at UBC are working on a SARS remedy so you don’t have to poke your nose into this. Out of all of my friends and family in Toronto, not one has SARS. Yes, all of you doomsday SARS preachers are much more stupid than you look.
