This is will be my after-work routine for some time to come now:
1. Change out of horrendous business-casual work clothes into normal clothes.
2. Eat supper.
3. Play with cats.
4. Play with Dena.
5. Play a shitload of Frozen Throne.
As I did with Reign of Chaos, I’m playing Frozen Throne‘s single-player campaign first, before mixing it up on BNet. Nobody does over-the-top story telling like Blizzard does and their CG movies are always top-notch. In short, I deem Frozen Throne to be a wicked expansion pack.
I won’t waste my life playing games, though. So my mind doesn’t turn to mush, I’ve finally picked up Programming Pearls after hearing much praise about it.
It’s supposed to be 35 degrees Celsius (that’s 95 Fahrenheit for you Yankee Doodle Dandies on Independance Day) today and we’re golfing at Puslinch Lake Golf Club. With Southern Ontario’s typical amount of humidty, it’ll probably feel like 40 degrees. Wack. Ugh. Wack. Ugh. Wack. [the sound of my dehydrated self hittin’ the ground]
