i liked labour on labour day

We rawked The Ex yesterday. That “take ya up 100 feet and drop ya” thingie really compresses your spine. Let’s go again!

Happy Labour Day. The best part of Labour Day used to be freezing my ass off while ball-spotting during the Holinger Golf Course Labour Day Tournament. Almost every Labour Day was friggin’ cold. It could’ve been warm before Labour Day and usually was warm afterwards, but the Labour Day weekend in Timmins was always cold. Ah, the Hollinger Pro Shop with Norm Claire; best boss I’ve ever had.

It’s fun watching all the students move in. It’s a fun game trying to guess who’s going where; UW, Laurier or Conestoga. It’s even more fun watching the students get frustrated with their parents while moving funiture and stuff. Why is that fun? Because it’s not me, anymore 😉 Finally, it’s fun watching them get horribly intoxicated after the parents leave. Ah, to be a student again. Dena says that university was the best time of her life so far. I’m not sure I can agree since most of my time in university was spent with my face in front of a text book/computer or chatting with CS professors. Besides, who would want to party when you’re stuck with American beer. Yuk.
