Last week, my mom was diagnosed with low-grade non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She ended up spending five days at St. Mary’s General but she’s home now, taking chlorambucil. The rest of her treatment will be done at the Cancer Centre at Grand River Hospital. I guess if you have to get cancer, the Lymphomas are the kind you’d rather have.
