Folks. Listen to “Bam Thwok”…it’s a brand new freshly recorded Pixies song. Surprisingly, it’s a Kim song, too. So far, Barry and I give it two thumbs way up. It doesn’t sound like anything that the Pixies had done previously but it still sounds like Pixies. They haven’t recorded any material for thirteen years until now and it sounds like they never stopped. I can’t remember where I read this recently but to paraphrase “the Pixies save rock ‘n’ roll…for the second time”.
Went to see Single Threat last night with Dena and Natalie (works with Dena). They’re a local band from Cambridge and were good if you’re into that. They played tight, though.
The new version of Firefox is mint 🙂
