i like python, not actionscript

Dena has had a wicked cold or somethin’. I had it a couple weeks ago and it came and went quickly after a couple of nasty days. But Dena’s really been kicked in from this. I think she’s on the mend, though 😉

Barry wants my opinion on what SE|PY is all about. I don’t know. To me, it looks like an Actionscript editor written in Python using the wxPython wrapper for wxWidgets. I’m not a Flash/Actionscript/design type of guy so I don’t know how good it is. And to the end user, it shouldn’t matter what an app is written in. If it’s good, it’s good. Perhaps it’s a wicked text editor for Actionscript. For me personally, if I’m not using Visual Studio for C++, C# or VB, then I’m using ConTEXT or Syn for Java, Perl, PHP, HTML, Python, VBS or even ordinary text files. I sometimes even use those editors if I use Borland‘s free C++ compiler.

Pat must’ve been bummed when he heard about this.
