This afternoon, Dena and I went skating at the Ice Centre in the Cambridge Centre. Dena had a firm grasp on my hand the entire time that she was on the ice, but she did well. The rink was a bit hectic – often congested with people of various skills and ages – but I had an opportunity to do a few laps at a decent speed (still far too many people to go any faster). Unfortunately, after about 6 laps, I realized that I’m terribly out of shape compared to before and ensuing laps were a challenge. That’ll change 😉
