for those about to (indie) rock…

November 21, 2005 under Music

Sites like Pitchfork, CMJ and NME merely tell you which music is cool, instead of allowing you to voice your opinion. Enter Earlyfish.com – yeah, I don’t get the name either…Barry chose it πŸ˜‰

Essentially, Barry, Pat and yours truly will mention albums of the moment that we’re into and allow for an open discussion of said albums.

Wake up early and go fishing, or something like that πŸ˜‰

    where be the comments yo?

open discussion between the three of us perhaps. and what’s with the ads? GUADY!!

I was kewl to roll with comments to get some discussion going for a sense of community. Barry wasn’t. He registered the domain, so he’s the man with the answers. I find AdSense to be pretty unobtrusive and you have a lot of control over the ads shown. It should help to cover hosting and domain registration. It could be worse. We could have those ugly Flash ads that make me thankful for the AdBlock extension πŸ™‚

exactly, its slowly starting to bring up links to matador and other indie bands, links I dont actually mind. As for the name ts a cross between ‘early bird’ and ‘new fish’.
