where to, now?

May 4, 2006 under Life

It’s been a week since my mom pased away and I have no idea what to write about now. I leave it up to you. Should I write about life without my mom? Should I rant about the Flames pitiful playoff performance this year? Would posting some techie-geeky thing be apropot? Music? Let’s hear your suggestions.

This could be akin to a Choose Your Own Adventure book. What awaits you around the corner; gold or the Minotaur? I guess that scenario is more like Greek mythology or even King’s Quest 6, than Choose Your Own Adventure. You get the gist, though, right?

Perhaps you can write about how the Flames sucked the big one last night, which will bring memories about the worst album you’ve heard in some time, then….um…..

….visiting friends or hosting them for some fun g.o.l.f. stuff?

perhaps just some stream-of-consciousness stuff that you will see is just a product of your imagination where you are unable to filter out the words as they come flying from your mind down to your fingers and out to the world only to be judged by the judgy-like-folk that litter the blogosphere (although that word drives me to the point of madness) like so many littery-type things that you see……

    …..yeah…maybe something like that.

You should go with what is in your heart. Your friends will be here for you and if you want to talk about your mom, then talk about your mom. If you happen to remember something special then share it with the rest of us.

As for Pat’s comment about GOLF, bring it on…I do need to get some practice time first:)

Ill say stick with the non filter fire of the fingers….that way either you can bitch about how much your swing sucks or let a little out about your mom. You know we are all snoopy basturds anyways….let’er rip…

Oh ya, and you can not only talk about hosting friends for G.O.L.F but when we (the northerners) will meet all yall for a day at the illustrious Canada’s Wonderland…just a thought…

damn, man. you reminded me of choose your own adventure. it’s been years since i’ve thought about those books. my favourite sabotage by jay leibold.

and i agree with dena 100% with the “what’s in your heart” comment. day by day is the only way to go 🙂

Okay, I barely understand what you friends said, I am so bloody old – but I agree with the sentiment, write about whatever the hell you want to write about. You know your mom will pop into your head at some very odd times, and sometimes it may feel good and other times really sad. I say it’s just great that you write in the first place. Hope you are holding up okay and that life is getting back into some kind of routine. I don’t want to say much else right now, so I think I will send you an email to you personally over the weekend.
    Ciao bello
    Christine
