I love this time of year. Here’s the first round matchups and my predictions are in bold.

East
Boston vs Montreal
New Jersey vs Carolina
Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia
Washington vs New York Rangers

West
San Jose vs Anaheim
Detroit vs Columbus
Vancouver vs St. Louis
Chicago vs Calgary (still hoping for the Flames to win)

Every year the same..always against my Flyers and always for those crappy old Wings!

Until your Flyers can give me a reason to do so otherwise, I will continue to choose the other team.

As for the Wings, Columbus put in a valiant effort at the end of the season, but they just can’t compete with Detroit.

Tonight’s Devil’s game was a good game. Although the stars of the game could of been different.

Don’t know who to go for after the Flyers lose their next game as they can’t even beat Pitts at home. So now need to go for Boston..I know they are already in 2nd round but the other 3 teams and Flyers don’t get along as well. So yes Boston it is.

Dena, least me team felt the playoffs and now they can work on their golf game!

Well my boy, the East was not your cup of tea when it came to predictions. However, the West you done good 🙂 So now we wait for your 2nd round predictions.

I am rooting for Boston and Pittsburgh. That is it. At this point, I could care less who wins in the West. Maybe a shout out for the Canucks since they haven’t won a Stanley Cup.
